Where is hot in december?: December Last Minute holiday

With Christmas just around the corner and the winter is drawing in now a great time to book last minute holidays in december.

Where's hot in december?
There is a certain element of enjoyment on winter sun getaway-while your friends and family are wrapping up in scarves and gloves you on a sunlounger in the Sun on a beautiful beach relaxation!

Winter Sun holidays are sometimes seen as more expensive, as many holidaymakers choose for this time of year abroad escape to hot, long haul destinations such as Africa and the Caribbean.  However, book at the right time and allows you to great value for money on winter sun.

Where to go:
The obvious choice for most tourists during the winter months here is the Caribbean.  Book at the beginning of December in order to avoid any price increases to Christmas and new year.  There are some Caribbean deals available at the moment, many with savings of hundreds of pounds but you will have to be quick to book them!  There is a wealth of Caribbean Islands to choose from to Antigua from the Dominican Republic, with different prices and offers.

Thailand's waters are also warm and calm in december with sun warming the beautiful beaches of Koh Samui and other tourist resorts.

Egypt, a firm favorite with UK holidaymakers this year, is closer than the Caribbean for flight times and will still be warm with average temperatures are around the mid-20 C mark.  The popular holiday resorts of Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada will be featured in the high 20 c's during this month and there are many deals offered.

Africa also offers hot weather in december along with opportunities to explore on Safari and experience something new while on vacation.  Africa Holidays in December Combine A beach holiday with a safari trip in somewhere such as Kenya and the best of both worlds.  You can also try the resort of Agadir on the Moroccan coast, where the Sun on the beach in december shining and the resort is protected against any Atlantic winds.

If you do not want to travel too far, the Canary Islands winter sunshine.  The chance of precipitation is highter than here say Africa but the Islands still benefit from 7-8 hours of sunshine per day, making islands such as Lanzarote, Tenerife and Gran Canaria very popular winter sun destinations for many.  Cyprus, only a 4.5 hour flight away, is still warm in december and offers many high quality hotels to choose from, in particular in areas such as Paphos and Coral Bay.
