NOTTING HILL - WEST LONDONTrendy & trendy plaatsen om te gaan voor sightseeing in Londen

Notting Hill is een van de meest trendy gebieden van Londen van Londen gelegen tussen Queensway en Holland Park (zowel op de centrale lijn) en Portobello Road begint slechts een paar meter van het metro station.

Het is een geweldige plek om te kopen van vers fruit en groenten en er zijn vele trendy restaurants en cafés en take-away winkels waar u warm voedsel kunt kopen.

Als je het metro station vandaan ziet u de populaire Prins Albert pub die een klein bier tuin heeft. Naast de deur is the Gate Theatre en tegenover WH Smiths is de gate bioscoop waaruit voornamelijk onafhankelijke en internationale films.

Een beetje verder is (voorbij de gate bioscoop) de Coronet bioscoop die de meest recente blockbuster films toont.

West Londen CarnivalAnother bonus van een verblijf in deze zeer trendy wijk is dat u kunt bezoeken het mooie Holland Park, dat gemakkelijk te vanaf hier bereiken is. Bent u hier aan het einde van augustus kunt u een bezoek het beroemde carnaval wordt gehouden in de nabijgelegen straten en meer dan een miljoen bezoekers komen elk jaar te vieren dit populaire festival.

Eating out in London has never been more enjoyable than today! This buzzing metropolis has undergone what can only be described as a culinary renaissance.

London has thousands of restaurants and a staggering choice of culinary delights from all over the world.

International chefs have introduced mouth-watering cuisine from countries such as Greece, Spain, France, Italy, Lebanon, India, China, Thailand and many more. This has resulted in an eclectic mix of delicious ethnic flavors alongside the culinary delights of traditional English cuisine.

Although restaurants can be expensive there are a vast amount of very affordable places to eat some great food in London with the popular 'menu of the day' ranging from �5-10 many areas of central London.

Eating out in the Oxford Street area of LondonWhen the sun shines in London there's a mad dash for eating out on the terraces and if you're in Oxford Street and wondering where to go, take a stroll down a small alley called St Christopher's Place (close to Selfridges).

This leads on to Barrett Street where you'll find caf� society at it's best. Trendy restaurants such as Carluccio's line the street and tourists and locals alike enjoy drinking coffee, eating cakes and wining and dining in this traffic free zone.

Other great places nearby are Carnaby Street and Ganton Street and the not so well known Lancashire Court which has lots of lovely restaurants with terraces such as Hush Brasserie where you can wine and dine.

Charlotte Street is just off Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road and famous for it's terraced restaurants both cheap and expensive.

If you're looking for inexpensive food in London try a great kebab or fish and chips (take away or eat in) at Dionysus Greek Restaurant next to Tottenham Court Road tube station. For a great night out (and a bit more expensive), try the Elysee Greek restaurant and club.
