2011 Holiday-travel ideas and tips

Welcome to 2011 and happy new year to all the fans of our holiday vacation!
Thanks for reading the holiday vacation blog in 2010, for joining with us on Facebook and twitter in and for the purchase of holidays throughout the year with us!

Let us hope that the experience in 2010 as the Ash cloud, strikes etc will not affect any holidays in 2011!  Holiday vacation has many changes come in 2011, including upgrades and changes to our website plus the addition of many more holiday offers!  It's going to be an exciting year!

But enough about us! Where are you planning to vacation in 2011?

Winter Sun:

Easter/Spring breaks:
Easter is always a popular time of year to go away, especially for families looking to travel to places like Florida and Disneyworld as the queues can be a bit shorter than in peak summer months (depending on when the schools especially breaking) and the weather is less humid.  For non-family holiday-makers can be a very quick week away in March/april time as well timed to save money on your vacation as hotels look for travellers in before the peak season begins.  Places like Cyprus and Greece can be pleasant at this time if you are looking for a bit of sunny weather. Spring time is also a good time to travel to Dubai and the Middle East, before the temperatures the 40 c's in the middle of the summer hit.

Summer 2011 holiday:
Summer will again offer plenty of opportunities to travel to places near and far with many holiday makers expected to return to countires outside the euro area this year again as Turkey, Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt and also including new destinations such as Libya (N.
